Waxing question?

hi all,
im thinking of getting lip wax (1st time) as im sick of bleaching and it never turns out 100 per cent.. im a bit scared to get it done as im not sure if it will grow back stubbly like a man, lol sorry i know its a silly question but im sure you guys will know the answer?? thanks xx

Hi, If you are considering waxing your lip for the first time, make sure you go to someone experienced. They should only used hot wax I think you call it hard wax in England. Titanium based waxes are gentler on the skin and less irritating. The area may be a little pink afterward, but this will subside within a short time. The hair will not grow back stronger or darker. Wax every 4-6 weeks for the first few times as there are 3 stages to hair growth and you will start to get a weekening in the folicle after this time. if you have any bumping , like small pimples after waxing, mix up a paste of bicorbonate of soda and cold water, apply to the area for 10 minutes and rinse. this will balance the PH and reduce swelling and redness. All in all it is a very simple proceedure.Bleaching makes the hair courser than waxing. Good luck! Suezanne

Waxing only grows back stubbly if the hairs are broken off instead of pulled out from the root. So, as long as your waxer is good, it'll grow back soft. xxx
