how do i change name and domain on exsisting web-site or does anyone know who i can get to do this for me thanks

Register the new address and point your DNS at the IP for the existing servers. However - if your existing servers hosted on a service like Webs, vistaprint, weebly or the hundreds of others - they may have a policy on you not doing this and block you.

You'll need to understand the implications for email, and what you want to do with the old address. You should reflect the changes in you SEO effort. Clearly your stationery, signage and any online social presence like Twitter, FB, Bebo, LinkedIn etc - would need to change too.

Are you really sure you want to? :) It' might be easier to run the new service in parallel gently phasing the old one out as you go!

I'd PM Ruth Mills to see what she says.

hth? Jason.
