Hi all, I'm normally on nail geek so just popping over for some advice. In general I dye my own hair a dark brown and until recently had a couple of chunky flashes in red (the red always done at hairdressers). Last time I went I fancied blonde instead of the red - she did it (without saying it might be a problem) and I ended up with pink. She wouldn't do anything else with it for 6 weeks, so I went to another hairdresser, explained everything and they did lift out the remaining pink.

Now as you can imagine the condition of the blonde isn't great and needs conditioning (with it being left on for 10 mins) most days or it looks and feels like straw.

I'm toying with the idea of having the blonde taken out and just having an all over brown - at the hairdressers, not myself, purely to help the condition. Would it help at all? Or what would you advise?
