Hello all,

I really need to know what is a truly "crystal clear" acrylic polymer? I have the OPI Crystal Clear we were issued in school and it is not so clear to me at all, in fact it appears cloudy. Any suggestions?

Creative nail design do a clear polymer that is as clear as glass hth

Thank you so much!!!
Is there any discounts for students? Just thought I'll ask.

I have no idea hun,
i am in England and you are in USA so you would have to ask at your suppliers
but i do know in England you can get try me kits for a small amount of money (you can get about three sets out of these) and they have every thing in there that you would need to do the sets hth

I appreciate your help!

clear powder of any (well nearly any) brand is "clear" perhaps it's application or final buffing that makes it look cloudy.

well ive used a few and agree some of them advertised as clear leave a lot to be desired, CND clear is crystal clear, and i had a sample of Ezflow that was crystal clear too, however i found millenium and the egde 'clear' to not be clear but almost cloudy, and i dont do anything diff with them to the others? always wondered whether it was me, but after reading this, maybe it is down to the product you use

Hi there,
I use Crative Nail Design products and I use the clear Polymer on my own nails ontop of clear tips. I often put stars or flowers on the tip before applying the L/P over them.
Once buffed up it looks really smart. literally crystal clear.
cheers,
Steph
