Hi mate,
whichever system you are using if you are using tips, it is called a tip and overlay (overlayed with acrylic/ gel etc..) if you are not extending the length of the nail, then you are doing a natural nail overlay (overlaying the natural nail to strengthen it and allow it to grow out naturally) either way it is called an overlay, it just dependes what you are overlaying!!
