CND Shellac™ in Chiffon Twirl & Lecenté Galaxy Stardust glitter (colour blocking using Empower Nail Art)

Those who follow me on social networks will have seen these about 20 times, so apologies

Sarah xx

Stunning as always.
I have been on holiday, and I am catching up, I so missed this thread.
I am gutted the new CND and Lacente additives are out of stock, but looking at this amazing set of yours, I can't wait for them to come back in stock, for me to attempt these.

Gelish one cool cat with turquoise glitter!

I'm rubbish at doing my own nails (especially as I'm right handed and this is my right! :)) but this is my first go with an Ink London polish.

Needed these to be simple for a circumstance at this time I have going on.

In doing so I found a refreshed love for mother of pearl! I rarely use it/not used it much at all in the whole length of time I've been using shellac. Very subtle sparkle.

Can I ask how you secure your swaroski crystals onto your Shellac pls. TIA :D

I just set them into my topcoat, cure, then do an extra topcoat without going over the Swarovski's as that makes them lose the dimension.

I also do it another way, which is simply placing my diamonds in my uncured second colour coat (although important to have a steady hand and not to move them once placed) then a topcoat. Depending on choice you can use clearly pink rather than two topcoats- it's whatever works for the set I'm doing x

Lovely. Can I ask what size crystals you have used?

Thank you. There's a video on my insta that shows the sparkle better.
And sizes...

Hmmm! Now you've got me! I hope I'm not mistaken- but I think I'm using in this one, 3mm and I think 1.8 x
