Here's my first load of nail art using gelish and a dotter!

This is a set I did today, client has very bitten nails with nss l&p acrylic on (tho she was told it was hard gel) sides were missing on some from bad fitting to small tips to nails, so I filed them down best I could as she has bad damage to nails, then I filled with nsi balance gel building some sides, then shellac over, I told her will take some time to grow out nss work and be totally gel but I wasn't going to remove their work, she left very happy with solar oil and appointment booked for 2 weeks, they arnt perfect but so much better than they was.

Gorgeous. Can't wait for the new Shellac colours and Additives, I have a few clients wanting polka dots but wanting with pastel colours

Sent from my GT-I9300 using SalonGeek

Sorry if this is a silly question but what are additives? Thanks

Do you find it difficult filing this shape with your non dominant hand?? I was thinking about trying out a more almond shape but I don't think i'll be able to file it nicely with my non dominant hand. Looks nice, btw!

I do find it difficult working on my other hand anyway but iv had my nails this shape for quite a few months now so I'm getting used to it!

xx

Stilettos with some nail art I wanted to try :)

Can i ask how u remove your gelish without removing your extension? Iv only even applied gelish on natural nails. Do you file it off? X

I file it off yes. But I must admit its my least favourite job :-/ especially when iv done glitter or nail art!!! On myself yesterday morning it took me an hour ;-( x

Some free hand nail art attempts - my zebra needs some practice! Any tips on how to avoid the white bubbling when curing when doing dots? Thank you :)

Has to be very very thin.. However, I do find that mine doesn't wrinkle at all now with my new Gelish 18g lamp.

Busy day for me today!

My least favorite too. Lol.

If its bubbling your applying too much product to your dotting tool. Better to go over your dots again with a second coat rather than one thick cost. For your zebra use the thinnest of stripes & taper your lines off at the ends. Does take practice though!
As already said though I rarely get bubbling/wrinkling with the Gelish 18g lamp xx
