What On Earth?...google place

I've just searched for mobile beauty therapists in my are on google, and I seem to have completely DISAPPEARED! I was at the top of the listings and now I've gone...anyone got any idea why? :cry:

Hi Sarah,
We have experienced this as well, so you are not alone. I think it constantly changes but if you make changes frequently to your web site i think the google bots pick them up and see it as something new so you get bumped back up the list. I dont know much about how it all works but this is my understanding. If any other geeks can make more sense of it for us both then great. HTH

Yes, I've had web pages go missing in the past as well. Just sit tight and wait for the web crawlers find you again. Unfortunately this could take several weeks but don't be tempted to re-submit your URL to Google as this will make you wait even longer.

Have you made any changes to the content? Have your competitors?

Make sure you key words appear in the website title pages and in your meta description & meta tags.

Try and have different sites linking to your website if you can. Have you got a facebook, twitter or myspace page? These can also help boost your rankings.

You should track your ranking weekly to see how you are performing.
