Just wondering what i will need when i come to setting up mobile? I have nothing at the moment just looking into buying everything, any advice, tips on what to buy from stationary to equiptment, also is there anything thats a MUST!I am planning on offering most beauty treatments Thanks

xx

As there are so many things to consider when taking on several treatments mobile, it would be easier for you to write your list of things you think you need for each treatment and then ask if anyone has any hints for things to add or things that are unnecessary based on the list you already have.

I just set up my mobile business. It took me a long time to find an affordable and light (only 12kg) mobile beauty couch. I can recommend it Massage Table Super Lightweight Portable Folding Massage Table 12kg TM04 - Feel Good UK .It cost £124 with a carry bag (delivery included).
I bought Eve Taylor skin care range- no minimum order (www.eve-taylor.co.uk) and Orly nail products from Salon Supplies & Beauty Equipment for Professional Hair and Beauty Salons from Salons Direct. They have mini nail polish bottles and mini mani kits which are cheaper than the regular size bottles.

Thanks ladies :D am just taking my time and gathering all my info, how does everyone organise their paperwork? is their much paperwork when mobile? I was thinking some kind of folder system? like one for client records, one for expenses, one for advertising stuff..and so on but dont know quite what paperwork i will need? also where do u keep everything when not using it including paperwork?

in theory what I would say you need to do at the end of each day total up how much you took in that day, any bills you paid and reciepts etc. So say you took £100, went to Sallys and spend £20, you should have £80 left...check that is right and then keep all the receipts together. go to business gateway hun, they have a zillion free courses on and it helped me so much. I go to the one in alloa, but there are ones on in falkirk and stirling too. Theyll help a massive amount. xxx
