What's The Craziest Nails You've Ever Worn...

Oh gawd!

Can't believe I'm sharing this but....

A few of you may remember K-Sa-Ra (which was a nail 'accessories' company, don't know if they're still going) who sold some really interesting stuff!

Anyway, I was 16 and got my mum to do my nails hugely long and hot pink with a dark half-moon (against her will!) with a piercing in every single one, and on a couple of nails I had a chain going from the piercing to a ring on my finger (told you they sold some interesting stuff!). I couldn't do A THING with them....like I cared....I was 16!

Anyway, went to (convent) school and got sent home, but refused to take my nails off because they were "oppressing my creative expression." So spent a few days off-school in Liverpool until I got so immensely peed off with not even being able to get my purse out of my bag that I ran home to my mum begging for acetone!

when i can actually be bothered to do my nails.... i always like to have a play with all of ezflow design powders... ive had a black nail beds and white tips before, clear or pink sculpts covered with embossed flowers ... glitter tips...... colour fades......the list could go on and on....

i remember yrs and yrs ago when i wore nails all the time i painted my nails with a purple varnish and using a cocktail stick (this was before i knew waht a dotting tool was!) covered my nails in pretty white dasiys.... they looked v cute
omg just remebered one christmas i had really long pointy nails which i painted with a dark green.... ( it was a cnd enamel but for the life of me i cant remember the name) and my pinky nail on my left hand was soooo soooo long i put abt 10 or more gold rings in it in a row.... it looked wicked at the time ( i was only abt 19 or 20 then) ........but now i prefer more of design sculpts for my art altho i have been doing more hand painted recently on to design work

Never had anything done thats out of the ordinarybut it has made me look at all your pics. I can only say one thing:-

Not the greatest work I've ever done, that's for sure:o.
Black tips, with red coloured gel where the pink usually is. One 3d spider that does't show well in the pic, chains attached to lie flat on 9fingers, and dangle from a 10th.
I liked my idea, but not impressed with my result.
Will likely try again

Which are done in gel-resin (aka dips) with foil leafing on the end, and 3d stickers, all encased in the gel-resin.

That's about as crazy as it's gotten so far.

i wore full length tips polished with burgundy foil (creative) did a glitter french by dipping each free edge into a bowl of gold glitter after i had brushed on some top coat..one nail at a time. unfortunately i didnt think ahead to the possible problem of shedding glitter EVERYWHERE (we were at a wedding)also the problem of handwashing:smack: . this was years ago have to add,lol. no nail graphix back then. i didnt stop getting comments on them, so as the night wore on and i became more drunk (as you do) i either sat on them or hid them behind my back..so i didnt have to explain all about them...as i was quite unable to speak very well

Mine was years ago, I made 10 3d goldfish then painted my nails blue like water and stuck a goldfish on each nail lmao I was like a walking aquarium.

Not so much crazy as just nasty really...... but not long after I'd done my Foundation course I decided I wanted long nails, so did them long square and french..... Well, the white was about twice as long as the pink and square is about the last shape I should wear to flatter my hands!!! After about 4 days I filed them all down and they looked so much better!

the craziest I've ever had my nails was along time ago( mid 90"s) I was going on holiday to New Mexico and decided I needed to be in the spirit of things ....so I made them about 2 inches long ...polished them nude and painted a fence with little cactus's and lizards on them........when my hubby and I were site seeing some guy came up to me and told me he had never seen someone with such long fingers and arms such as me..... .....well.....uummm ....ok.....when we got home I had to cut them down.....was impossible doing everyday things with them that long.....
