When clients call products/treatments a wrong name does it annoy you?

Interesting this thread is discussing the amount of clients mispronouncing things when in actual fact, a lot of therapists didn't know how CACI was pronounced...! Not digging, just noticing. We are all human!

I come across lots of therapists who mispronounce Thalgo and Sothys brand names, pronouncing the "th" as in other English words. Thalgo is supposed to be "tal-go" (just the T, don't pronounce it as TH), and Sothys is pronounced "so-tees".

Once trained a lady who called microdermabrasion "microbibrasion" and just would not be corrected..! Never mind, she understood what she was doing, that's the main thing!
 
Yes, I used to stock sothys. Nobody ever pronounced that correctly. I would never correct them, just make sure i used the correct pronunciation so they would learn without feeling embarrassed. Must admit I've been pronouncing thalgo wrong the whole time.
