Could someone please give me really good directions to where the dermalogica training centre is in york? i go nxt week for the 1st time and hav no idea where it is? how far is it from york train station? and are ther any hotels nearby as im planning on staying over! in useless with directions and dont know york so precise info would be much appreciated!!!! thanx x

Anyone? I'm going for my training soon as well and want to book and stay at a hotel

It is in a unit near monks cross shopping centre, on the outskirts of York. I'm not too sure on what hotels are around there though I'm sorry. If you type in monks cross on google it should come up with an area postcode - maybe try a hotel near yo-- --- and see what it says. There aren't any hotels on the complex, I know that. Sorry I couldn't be any more help.

Also if you head for monks cross (signposted as you get nearer) you get to a roundabout eventually with monks cross and monks cross park and ride as two of the exits at a roundabout. Take the monks cross one (it's a 40mph road, stay in the left lane) and I think it is the first exit, as that is the only one that is industrial units. Apparently it has no car park though, as my friend had to park in the park and ride nearby.

I realise these aren't exact directions, sorry. Have they not sent you directions? It's not on if not!!!

There is a travel lodge in York city centre not too far from the train station about 5 minutes walk. Buses then run from the city to monks cross shopping centre as it's on the outskirts of York. :)

There's no parking so you need to park at the Monk's Cross Park & Ride, then catch the bus. You need to get off at the stop that's at the back of M&S, next to the big Aviva building. Walk down the side of Aviva & you'll see the Dermalogica offices.
