Hello. I have been looking for the rebalancing tutorial and also notice that i am not the first. Am i looking in the wrong place??? If there is not a tutorial on this subject, any chance of getting one. I have been doing nails for just over 2 years now (creative l&p) and still dread a rebalance. I am always happy with the outcome, and don't end up with thicker nails each time they come in; but it sometimes takes me longer to rebalance than it does to do a full set. It is so frustrating but i just seem to be filing forever. Can anyone help please.

Many Thanks and Happy Days:D

Why are you all filing for ages??? Are you all having major lifting problems?? If not, then why all the filing? That is the first question that needs answering.

2ndly, it does take as long to do a good rebalance as a full set ... one reason why no one should be charging too little for this service.

Usually the first maintenance is a fill (less time) and the second is a full rebalance and so on depending on the growth rate of the client.

Maybe you should look at taking your first Master Class on Real Rebalancing. Or look carefully at the instructions for a rebalance on the Designer Nails web site under the NVQ section. This is a brullient tutorial without pictures.

I think the reason why some people are filing for ages is when you first begin you put too much acrylic on, perhaps not as smooth as it should be, and are perhaps a little unsure as to what file to use, I know I did when I was training. So much better now I hasten to add!

I think sometimes people lack confidence and need to quickly check on a tutorial to make sure they are doing it right, especially if they are not getting as much practice in as they would like.

Just wanted to say that i did my masters class on real rebal the other day and i found it a great help. Answered all those little questions, and refreshed me. A great day and i would recommend it to any creative techs that feel they need that little bit more. (And i got a great certificate too!) Am really looking forward to doing the other 2 now and becoming a master tech.

Watch this space He!He!

Ill stick one back up when I get some decent photos... I took the last one down as you couldnt really see the nail worth poo.

Shouldnt be too much longer. ;)

Meanwhile look at File Control Part 4 - The Rebalance thread.

This should answer any questions you may have ... without the pretty pictures.

Carol if everyone had to be masters to take the Master Classes, there wouldn't be much point!!

Master Classes are for anyone who is ready to move to the next level. No one is an expert or a specialist when they take the classes, but they are when they finish ... Sounds like you are ready to me.

Rebalances should not be a struggle. If they are, then the class will help enormously.

Thankyou Geeg for the info, do I contact Creative at Leeds for further info and costs.

Much appreciated
