Hi this is directed to any of you who administer Botox, I've had it a few times now with a couple of different people my question is - one of the main reasons I have this done is to raise my eyebrows a little & therefore lift my lids a little.

Mostly I've had it done by a qualified therapist who injects above the brow, the last time i had it done by a doctor & it was below the eyebrow & quite painful - when queried he said the other way was incorrect & she (the therapist) probably hadn't injected deep into the muscle.

Both gave good results - just curious really which was the right way?

Hope someone can help

I guess as with many treatments there are several ways to do things, and every person does it their own way, whichever they find giving best results.. If they both did good - then it is probably a case of doing it differently, rather then being right or wrong, but then again - I do not do botox :D

it's not a simple question to answer as the frontalis muscle is above the eyebrow but so is the corrugator supercilli and depressor. When you get injected it is hard to know exactly where they inject you unless you witness it yourself!

One thing for sure is you shouldn't be going to a beauty therapist to get it done, did they ensure you physically saw a doctor before having it injected? If not then they have just broken the law!! When you practice illegally this makes any insurance policy you have null and void!
