which add on / stand alone services for a makeup artist

i would like to add more strings to my bow, i currently work as a mua specialising in bridal and occasion makeup and also offer makeovers and lessons

i really dont know which additional treatments to train for, they need to be popular with everyone - not just brides, and obviously profitable for me.

i find im busy at weekends with weddings etc ... would be nice to offer other treatments (mobile) during my quiet times - midweek

* eyelash extensions + possibly threading
* manicures & pedicures
* bio sculpture nails

any feedback would be much appreciated xx

Manicures/pedicures would be good but how about adding facials too. The bride often wants nice skin before her wedding and facials about a month or2 weeks before help condition the skin before the big day.

i too was thinking eyelash extensions as suitable add on
i now have to start researching who to train with!
to those who have recommended lash extensions - is this a service you provide ?
can i ask approx how many sets you do a month ?
with good advertising, can i expect to do several sets a week or am i being to optimistic here?

Hi I have just trained to do them I have slot of interest already Hun, but can't be specific as new to it.
I can recommend a training company though, as your near me, I trained with cheryl cole lashes in Huntingdon, she was lovely and very reasonable price. She has her own lash range too! It's just you and one other girl on the training so you get one to one while you work on each other. I picked it up much quicker than I expected to. Good luck who ever you go with, you'll love it.
