Hi all,

I have decided to purchase a efile. I have found someone to train me in using it but just need to get one. any advice would be helpful. I saw one called the touch and eve 7, although it was £100 which seems very cheap. It was from www.desirenails.com.

thanks! xxx

Does the person who is training you not have any recommendations..

Why do you feel you want to go down this route?

That site looks a bit dodgy  I would be very careful, there are no contact details for them and some of the prices are too good to be true.:!:

I use the Erica MT20, not cheap but the handpiece is so light, and I have had it for 3 years now with no problems, and it gets used alot!

thanks for the advise for that site and thanks for the efile suggestion i will look into that. the person who i am going to ask to train me hasnt got any spaces till Feb so will ask them when I ring them. I thought I would ask on here as was on last night having a look at drills but when i do speak to the lady I will ask her. thanks.

I recommend any of the Kupa efiles. they're not insanely expensive but they quality is great, the mani-pro's are kind of an industry standard beginner efile. their customer service and maintenance service is also great. I agree I wouldn't purchase from the site you linked to, dont expect to pay $100 for a good e-file because you won't get one;)

surely it doesnt matter so much bout the box? i bought my drill off of ebay and it has the same revs etc as any other drill, i reasearched that and its great, my nail lady has one and its just the same, i teated myself for some drill bits to go with it and its great £38.99!

that sounds a bargain! if it works the same then why not. I spose I could give one of those a go. which one have you got? are there some on ebay now? xxx

you should check out that thread, there was a lot of debate about buying professional products on ebay, I also purchased my efile on ebay but I made sure it was an authentic kupa, there are a lot of knockoffs and if you've never used a quality brand efile you might not be able to tell how inefficient yours could be. basically, if you're not experience using an efile and you dont know exactly what to look for, dont order from anyone but an authorized dealer! jmo of course but im sure most techs experienced with an e-file will agree with me:) hth! good luck and let us know what you decide to purchase:)
