Hi all
I'm looking for a galvanic machine to buy and would like some info on which brands are good, which to avoid, suppliers etc. I've been advised by my skincare company to ensure that it has 2 rollers which can be used together.
Thanks!

Hi Debs

I was looking for a reliable galvanic which was reasonable priced as I have just started up.

I have purchased the Carlton classic galvanic unit with 2 rollers. I got it for about £250 ish, sorry haven't got invoice handy.

I am using it in my dermalogica facials with excellent results.

Thats an excellent price for a Carlton - where did you get it?
I was trained using Carlton so I know and like their machine.

Do you need one that also does high freq?

I have a Carlton, it's such a reliable brand.

No I don't need HF, just Galvanic.

I've seen Carlton, SalonServe, SkinMate, are there any others out there?

There's also a company called Cosmetronic who seem to make galvanic machines with twin rollers.

I have both the Carlton Classic high frequency and galvanic. I purchased it over the phone.

My personal belief is to have the machines separate so that if one function breaks you don't end up having to send the entire machine back. It's only small so it doesn't take up much space.

Ellisons sells the Esthetix brand (this is what I saw Dermalogica use at their training centres), their older models can be stackable. Not sure about the current one. This brand was slightly more expensive than Carlton.

I have one of their electric couches and facial steamers. Their service is great and prices seem quite reasonable x Let me know pure as I could soon be on the lookout for galvanic soon:wink2::wink2:

I've sent them an email as no one was answering the phone today asking for more info so I'll let you know but it's good to hear their service is good. I have received some info from SalonServe this morning but haven't had a chance to look through it yet.

I am aware that the cheapest isn't always the best value and the dearest isn't alway the best, so still looking.
