I have been doing spraytans for 2 years now and i have used tantruth, spraytan2u, xen tan, sienna x, suntana etc..

i am now using tantruth and i am finding that it is orangy and i dont like it anymore at all.. now i forget what the rest were like.

most of my customers like extra dark so i use the boost drops as well :)

can anyone help please on their views for a nice tan that looks brown and not that orange way.. also one that doesnt go all patchy and horrible after a few days.

thank you

Why not google or use the search bar top right of the screen and have a ring around for some samples...what someone else thinks is great may not be your choice...experience the solutions at first hand and then go from there

HTH

i have already done this with the tans i named but i wanted a kind of average of what other spraytan technicians thought on here x

i use nouvatan and i love it. dawn is lovely too. :D

good luck in your search

Hi i use Solgo ive been useing it for 3yrs now and ive no complaints or my customers, they do two different shades Sunkissed 8% and Drenched 12% It dose not go orange just a nice goldern glow for natural and for those that want to go darker Drenched is very dark when fully developed so iam told by my customers as i only use Sunkissed, They do shimmers in silver and gold I get it from United Beauty and they do retail products as well. Hope this has helped x

surely the shimmer only lasts until the guide is washed off?

or is it a seperate retail product?

Hi it is seperate from the spray and the shimmer last up to 12hrs x

do you mix it in with the spray as you are spraying the colour on...or do you give it to the client for once she has rinsed her tan and for a night out to be applied her self?

Hi Kim no i don't mix it, i spray them and they can have it put on there and then or come back the next day to have it put on x

spoke with dawn from no uv tan :) she is really nice and is sending me a sample tomorrow.. so hopefully i like it :) xxx

I use FakeBake - It's gorgeous, and fades really well.
I've also used SunFX in the past - have nothing bad to say about them, lovely tan, faded well, no smell,

But I still prefer FakeBake

I also use Nouvatan. It tocked all the boxes for me. I sampled lots of solutions and none of them came close to Nouvatan

i didnt like fakebake.. didnt like the colour or the way it came off but i used this a good while ago so it mite have changed.

i hope i like the nouvtan as it seems to have really good feedback..

will post and let you all know how i get on :)

thanks guys :D

this is a great thread, i have recently bought a spray machine but not yet purchased any product or training think i will try the suggestion of ringing around for some samples as-well xx

I use EnvyTan solutions and love them. They offer a sampler pack on their website. I am sure you will love them too. They are not orange and do not wear unevenly. They also carry disposables and before and after products. If you continue to use your current solution, you might want to try to use a tan extender like Body Armor to even out post tan fading.
