White tips aren't suitable for all clients so being able to use white powder is a great thing for your business.
You would not use white tips on a nail biter as it would be placed so far down the nail plate there would be no pink left.
If you applied white powder you could extend their nail plate with an opaque powder.

I agree... i absoloutly love this site.. you can pick up so many tips..x:biggrin:

i offer both hon and it works well for me. I charge more for the white acrylic, but I do find lots of people like the white tip with clear. Ill be honest, they are really not my favourite, but people want them , so I do them.

Offer both definately.

hey thanks for the replys I really myself hate White tips lol!!! n there are so many nail techs in my area that just stick on White tips to anything!! with a less than a mm of natural u can see, I'm just worried that my nails will look cheap if I used White tips!!!! lol!!! no adfencie to people who use them or have them on!!! but thanks x well I will have my White tips in my desk just incase! x

like you say, if you have them in your desk, then you are ready for the person who walks in and wants them and only them.!

as i shall, i am not fond but i want to offer my clients what they want. Lord knows i have tried with images of nicer nails, but god love them, some of them want those porn nails!

I don't do what clients want I explain and do what is best for them. I would not do the "porn" nails I would convince them not to have those. It's my reputation on their fingers walking around the town. So I always make sure they get what suits them best. Not had a problem with that.

As per tips. I do mainly gels and I prefer to sculpt. I have a couple acrylic clients and it depends on what's most suitable for their nail condition, lifestyle and so on. I maily sculpt with acrylic but also use white tips with popits for express sets.

I think it's a good idea to have a choice.

Can't wait to get Dashing Diva wraps cause it will make nail biter sets so much quicker and so much nicer)

Hope this helps. All the best of luck ;)

Hi tash, well why not be different to all nail tech in your area, and do what you believe to look better. As a nail tech we all know that white tips have there place,,,,, but I hate using tips either clear natural or white,,,although I do use them on people with flat nail beds or fan shape nails as they will flatter that nail shape better than sculpt on a form, iygwim

I always do what I feel best not what clients want ( to certain extent) you have to show clients educate them that you know what you are talking about , make them trust you,,,and believe me they will soon look back (as many my clients do) and go OMG Icant believe I used to have really long white nails, as opposed to natural looking enhancments they have now :)
