Wii not working...kids moaning...SOS

The Wii console isnt working...error message says "Press eject and remove the disc. turn the power off and follow trouble shooting directions in the console manual"...anyone ???

Try pulling out wires at the back and leaving for 5 minutes then try again

gave it a go hun....no different....wont play any of the disks...

Have you tried wiping the disks with a soft cloth i.e glasses cloth ?

I have googled it hun and it seems to be a fairly common complaint.
Some seem to be O.K after a re-boot or a clean of the disc's but in the main most have had to contact Nintendo and send it off to be repaired, it's something to do with the drive and how it reads the disc's.
