Will I ever get paint on white right??

I have been farting aroung with this product for six months, I almost have it right. BUT today I did a ladys nails and it shruk up alot. I think I am leaving it a little to think but it not real think help what should I do?? Also you can't file it at all if you miss one little spot? When I do this I have to reapply the whole white because it won't match up with the first white. Is this all sounding right? I am using akzents.

I'm sure two THIN coats of white are better than one coat that is too thick ... remember to cap the free edge as you paint.

hi look at www.gelessentialz.com they have great akzentz tutorials... i use their pow with great sucess i dont find i get any shrinkage maybe u are working gel too much .... must be applied with light strokes flat on to create perfect white coverage ..then swipe with dry brush. have a look on this site loads of good advice x hope this helps xxx
