Hi

It takes me 2 hrs to do a full set of nails, I've only been doing them for a few months and most people have been ok with it. But...

I have a group on facebook and my friends next door neighbour asked if I would do hers, so I said yes and she told me 12 today, so I was like ye thats fine. Then this morning she asked if we were still OK for 12, so I said yes and then she asked how long they would take. I said 2 hours and she was like oh 2 hours is to long I have family visiting this afternoon. So I just said thats how long it takes for me to do them well with good prep and she just said oh well dont come today we'll av to do another time I dont have that long.

I thought I was doing Ok and no one else has had a problem with time because they do get a lovely set of nails at the end, if I do say so myself lol. But now I'm worried I take to long

xx

Please dont get to worried, your time will improve with practice, if you do a great job at the end of it your on the right track, keep practicing as much as you can and maybe look at getting some one to one training to help you along?

2 hours after just a few months? That's fantastic! Your time will improve with practice - but 2 hours is not unreasonable - especially if you have impeccable prep and no lifting issues! Don't be so hard on yourself - you cannot please everybody all the time.

Don't take it personally - its not personal! You are doing great.

Yes I agree, 2 hours is fine! You will get faster with more experience or if you use popits but 2 hours is just fine!!

Sometimes you can reduce a bit of time if you make sure you are always "talking to the hand". 2 hours is def not unreasonable, esp if you haven't been doing nails all day every day!

Hi there as long as you are doing a good job and people are happy with you work dont worry. My mum went to have a set of sculpted nails and it took the girl 3 1/2 hrs to do and then 2 hours to do a rebalance, so 2 hours is good.

Thanks everyone I feel much better about it now x
