Hi fellow geeks,
Just wondered what other techs think about the Y lash extensions, around the outer eye area, especially when doing partial sets to add bulk. Wasn't sure if they really would weigh down the lashes though.

They are 2 lashes stuck together so they are twice the weight,
you would have to make sure you only fitted them to strong healthy lashes for them to be able to hold the weight,
they do take some getting used to too, at first when taking them off the strip they tend to separate so you end up with just 1 single lash lol,
the other thing to consider is if you are using these for a partial set, as they naturally shred the lash line will look sparse much quicker, hth

Thanks, I don't think I'll bother with them, didn't think about the lashes looking more sparse as they start to shed. I'll stick to the single ones.

i bought some and they are a nightmare to get out..... also i wasn't sure where to stick it?? lol it is too much hassle for me lol x

Y lashes are generally designed to fill out bald patches, I have them on my trolley but very rarely pick them up, I just keep them incase I have a slightly maturer client who may have bald patches.

The Y lash is heavier than most and can cause the natural eyelash to drop out prematurely if not used correctly...I hope this helps!
