Young Nails white powder

Hi, i have just started my training using this brand with college. I have used the fantastic idea i found on this site of using blue tac and a tip to practise on.
I am having a problems with the consistency of the white. I cant seem to get the white to look particularly white and is a bit see through. Does this mean its too wet? it also seems to move about on the form too much so cant create the right shape.
i have only had one evening at college so obviously its early days for me, but we were told to have a play so we are more informed for next week.
Also it seems to be quite a soft white, does anyone else use this and agree? The tutor did a demo for us and it did look quite soft when she did it too.
Am thinking of getting one of the training hands too.

It sounds as though the consistency is not right it also seems to move about on the form too much so cant create the right shape. When you burp the brush if you swipe the brush twice on the dapen dish this should give you the right amount of liquid to powder

Hi Tracey thats great thank you for your help, shall have another go tomorrow!
have won a nail trainer tonight on ebay too so cant wait to have a go on that too!
