I've tried OPI Gelcolor. My review so far.

Yes you have to shake Gelcolor also. Gelcolor is runny when first opened, I do hope it thickens up a little maybe it will cap better. I haven't had gelcolor for long so don't know if it will. Unique Tips has been doing it longer then I so it may be better to judge if you want to try Gelcolor...

I've tried OPI Gelcolor. My review so far.

True maybe there is more trouble shooting Ideals I can get from class. But from doing so many gel products in past I know most of them. Still every product has its down falls, that doesn't make it rubbish by no means. Shellac polish has some down falls I had to learn how to work out.

I have never used Axxium, to many new clients came in and said it damage their nails and the soak off time turned me away.

I've tried OPI Gelcolor. My review so far.

Thanks Unique Tips, I hope it gets better. I have tried Gelcolor three times on myself and once on a client and it pulled each time. I will keep working with Gelcolor to make it work better as I did with Gelish and its pulling away or shrinking, it could have been to warm or to cold. I'm really...

I've tried OPI Gelcolor. My review so far.

I tried Opi Gelcolor. I got the kit of six colors with base and top coat (called the total package). Comes with dvd, instructions, window cling etc. Base coat goes on like when your polish is starting to dry and your still tring to apply it draggy, bumpy and rough if your not quick. Didn't like...

    CND Bold Color L&P

Thanks Kismet, I thought maybe CND Perfect Bold Colors must of been discontinued, I've looked all over the web to see any reviews and found noon. Has anyone used it on the whole nail? I'm thinking maybe no one wants to take the time to mix a color, it is time consuming. I just made up...

I bougth CND bold color L&P last year in clearance bend and I decided just now to try it so I mixed some great colors and can't wait to try them. But I can't found anywhere reviews on it and no instructions came with it. I tought I'd use retention liquid with it. GIGI said (no exact words)...

    Fuzzies in finished Shellac

I agree, lint free not true. I have also found when heaters on in cold weather there's a lot more dust. I work out of my home. I'm going to use an air filter on my desks hoping that will help. As long as it doesn't draw the dust across the table to filter it. If that doesn't work then I'll use a...

Any tips on how to speed up will be GREATLY appreciated!

I've never used cuticle away can you use alcohol or scrub fresh to remove it before doing Shellac instead of soapy water. I also take over an hour to do Shellac.

    Fuzzies in finished Shellac

Great advice Buffing it off and retop. I learned the hard way not to cliped the bit off that causes break down later I guess because it clips some of the base coat cover. Even if you shellaced over it.

    Shellac colour question

I think I saw one of the fake Shellacs that had yellow and orange on E-bay from China. They even say CND and are same shape as Shellac too. Those are not the original Shellac:mad:

5 layers of Shellac or Gelish for strength?

I only use 3 coats of color sometimes when I layer. Don't need to do three coats with Shellac as Gigi said it's a power polish (I like that). On me it makes my nails rubbery (I like to say). I have peely, weak, splity nails and when I have Shellac on it protects my nails from spliting and when I...

    Capping free edge with Gelish

I would not avoid any because some clients nails do just fine with Gelish. The more glittery ones seam to hold the best, like Good Gossip. I remember Passion as one I have problems with on weak nails. I've been sticking to Shellac the last 4 months and only on occasion do Gelish now. My...

    Capping free edge with Gelish

Not in my opinion I have greater success with Shellac in most cases. I'll aways use Shellac with very damaged nails, because some of Gelish colors let me down. Gelish may have more colors but alot of those colors I don't like. I do like Gelish though for some of the colors and if preped good it...

How to repair a natural nail breakage

I do the same, works better then just Shellac with silk along. But I use fiberglass instead of silk its stronger. I tried fiberglass and Shellac alone but didn't hold as well as Fiberglass and resin with very bad splits. Prep nail Lightly take shine off just that surrounding area, Smoothly...
