Adding water to a colour isn't exactly my idea of how to do things.... It's a bit old school if you ask me. And as for the water eliminating the ammonia, well that's impossible. Our rep and our tech rep reckon there's no Iona 10vol in the uk, so I'm confused by that.... Unless its a marketing...
Hi, just a simple question here. After working with redken for the past 5 years and moving to a new salon that uses Iona I am totally baffled as to why there is no 10vol in their majirel or Iona lines? This kinda goes against everything I was taught previously. It even says they have 10vol in...
I think the wand is overpriced, the o rollers are too heavy even with those crappy clips they come with but I do like the results. The irons are amazing though, better than ghd but only cause of the temp control. But that's just my opinion :-)
Well I hope in years to come it gets to the forefront of colouring if their products are so great. And I mean that seriously not taking the p**s. My reply was in answer to the OP's question about ammonia free color and I was talking about redken.
I think that ammonia free is the future of color...
I haven't started an argument... Just saying I personally had never heard of it and that it'd pay off for them to do more marketing if it's that good. Each to their own I say :-)
I wonder why if it's that good then why has it not got a big name for itself or a big color house jumped on board. Maybe I'm just missing out never hearing of it
The redken chromatics contains a protein repairing complex that strengthens as it colours, ammonia has been used in colours for a long long time so maybe it's due a modern change..... It's a lot better for your hair than ammonia but ity'll always have its downsides at the start. It works using...
I'm using it at work....redken that is. I quite like it, very easy to mix because its just developer and the color (the oil is already in the peroxide) and the shades are pretty true to the chart. I find the grey coverage great on level 6 and below, above that and they're crap. Stick with cover...
An under basin water heater that's designed for salon use will cost a lot less to run than an electric shower but can be more costly at the start, I always think showers on the wall looks a bit tacky like a granny salon hah. There is proper hot water systems that don't require gravity for...
I love the result that they give and the concept of the quick heat but....... the big rollers are far too heavy and the clips are absolute terrible. Very pricey too! But i do use them quite a bit hah :-)
From what I've looked at its almost the same in grams as ml.... Look at the tube markings on the side of the tube next time you use it, will give you a rough idea how similar it is.
Or maybe your oblivious to how other people may read what you wrote/write. It came across as a bit aggressive to me but hey it 'obviously' wasn't!
Anyway I'm sure the confusion about not to use a highlift as a toner has been cleared up. Stick with what's been designed to do the job.
