I use Protein Bond and love it. It has definitely decreases lifting for me. I prep the nail, dehydrate and then apply one coat of Protein Bond. After it dries, I apply another coat. You can also cure the nails in a UV lamp for 10 seconds for your problem lifters. I use it on myself and...
Definitely hold the skin tight. I work with gel mostly and if I get any gel on the skin, I use a gum stimulator to remove excess gel from the cuticle area. Works better than a cuticle stick. I saw this from Denise John's, YouTube channel.
Are you using acrylic? My skin is oily and I cannot keep acrylic on my nails so I use hard gel only. Young Nails Protein Bond a miracle for me. I use 2 coats. The second coat I cute in my lamp for 10 seconds. No lifting or losing nails.
Paint you nail the pink first and cure. Then using a makeup sponge, apply the same pink and white (overlapping each other) to the sponge and sponge it on till you get your desired effect. Top coat should take care of the texturized look. Are you using the latex makeup sponges?
I do my ombre gel nails vertical. I apply a stripe of one color on one side and another on the other side and just blend. You can also do it horizontally and use a clean brush to blend the two together.
CND Brisa gel is a good alternative. I used to use the Axxium gel line but have since started primarily using Brisa. Brisa is a hard gel like Axxium.

Your brush has cured because it was exposed to UV light. Either you're working too close to your lamp or there is enough sunlight coming in that is causing it.
This has happened to my Masquerade. I just assumed it was because I hadn't used it in awhile, I had exposed it to light or it got too warm.

Try using a soak off gel like Brisa Lite Sculpting gel. It will be a bit thicker but should hold well. I use it for my crystals.

I'm not familiar with Gellux, but I'm assuming it's a gel polish? Are you using it in direct sunlight? That could cause your brush to harden if you're exposing it to sun.

Shellac is a brand made by CND. It is trademarked by CND so you shouldn't refer to other gel polish as "Shellac". For a true American manicure, you can use CND Shellac in Studio White. It is a softer more natural white.

Are you using Protein Bond over the whole nail before applying your base coat? If so, that could be why it's so hard to remove.
