I love shellac and gelish but i have to say the only colours i find myself getting excited about lately are Light Elegance which you can't get in the uk :sad:

Have a look at Liverpool lashes on YouTube, she did a fab video where she goes through the main colour groups and shows colour pops so you can see which ones you like x

I am confused by heat spike too, I use brisa lite so not a poor quality product, and I always do a thin layer first before building (as taught on my course) I find that when I use the clear gel on people they seem to suffer it more than the pink. So I usually go for the pink now if I can.

Have been using this for a year now x the little drawers at the top are starting to come apart now but apart from that it's ok. I would probably get the one on wheels next time round as sometimes it feels like the handle could break as it's heavy when full

Have had some great results from ibx, Brisa sculpting is great for fixing broken nails or if a client wants extensions for an occasion but not long term. Smoothing gel is fantastic under shellac. Would recommend all 3

The corals and oranges are really popular at the moment so I would say get one of each. I also love you glare I glow and Mali blu me away, they have been popular for me lately. Brights have more fun and I'm brighter than you, great for summer.

Hi and welcome to salon geek. Are you looking to start off doing nails then add the other bits as you go? I would recommend choosing which brand you want to work with (ie Gelish/cnd shellac etc) and do as much training with that brand as possible. A lot of beauty colleges will do a gel polish...

Shellac will only cure in the cnd lamp, although it may seem cured it can cause allergic reactions if undercured. Not worth the risk in my opinion
