Afternoon Geeks, can you help me out please, Im off to a concert in November and was just wondering if anybody can tell me of theirr experience of the o2 Greenwich stadium if theyve been their.:confused:Its not as much as what it was like but, Im thinking more of the traffic and parking situation and wondering wether it would be better to just book a hotel room for the night and get their earlier ..please??

Loads of parking but very expensive, around £20 I think, so I've only been by public transport, very good links there via Jubilee line. Go to Paddington, get district/circle to Baker St and pick up Jubilee line to North Greenwich which is where O2 is. As you come out of N Greenwich station the O2 is right there, can't miss it.
Have fun!

Great thanks, anybody else?

its really easy to get to..... what we did was parked in a car park in grenwich...right near the observitory....which i think was £7 for the day then got the boat (thames clipper into london...it goes right right along the thames the last stop is the 02)

Cool thanks , just had a look on the map, seems a good idea ,quite fancy treating myself to a ride on the boat, but still debating wether to stay in a hotel overight.

Am sure the parking at the O2 was only £6 for the evening. I went quite recently. Parking was plentiful and we had no probs getting in and out of the area.
I'm going in November to see Michael McIntyre, what are you going to see?

Concert parking is generally about £20 however if you tell the parking officials you are going to the cinema they will direct you to a different car park, then you will get a ticket and pay for the hours you have been there.Probably about £5-6
