I know that they are not perfect but i'll still like to hear your veiws:rolleyes:

Hi
for a first attempt at coloured they are very good, i like the look of them. I think the sidewalls on the little finger could be a bit straighter but i cant talk i tend to taper in too much. Maybe the smiles could be neatened, (my first coloured were the same cos i concentrated too much on patting for even coverage and smiles dried too much) but overall i like these nails.

i'm only trying to be honest with my opinion, you will also notice i need to add photo's of nails to my albums but i keep forgetting to resize them!

Plus i'm posting a critique tomorrow so i'd like honest opinions too

Good try, I am no expert but I think shape and sidewalls could be improved. The smile could be smilier and also I am not sure the shade of pink is right for the skin tone. JMO xxx

I think the colors are beautiful, and I like how they're kind of marbled together. I think the overall look would be sharper if your smile lines were "smilier", and if you tapered your sidewalls down a bit (to keep them from looking "hip-y.). I can't judge on apexes b/c I couldn't see them clearly. A very good result for your first try!

I think the colours are nice, cheerful design, but I don't understand why not make a decent smile line or not make one at all. It looks like a totally muddled smilie to me which, I believe, wasn't you intent.

Also something needs to be done about the shape. They are too fan-shaped and thick. Reminds me of nails from the beginning of 90ies when the skills were less advanced.

Well, I like the pink and blue on the free edge, not too sure about the yellow. I think they would have looked nicer if the smile was smilier, more consistent and further towards the free edge to elongate the nail bed. That said I haven't used coloured powders, only glitter powders so I don't know if they are workable for less time? I agree with everyone who mentioned the sidewalls too. The best nail for me is the index finger, for the design, on the top hand, I like the blue swirling up onto the nail bed, its nice and crisp.

Thanks for sharing, I've long been tempted to try coloured powders, what differences, if any, did you find between them and the usual whites and pinks?
