This is a new one for me. I've never seen or heard of these before. I'm intrigued. Just out of curiousity, what is the benefit of having a two-handed UV lamp?

Essential nails used to do a 2 handed UV Lamp (not sure if they still do) or it might be worth having a look on the daylight company website, as they have a range of different UV gel lamps
Hop this helps

We had two of those lamps and we got them from Sina I believe! All seemed well until 2 weeks later both turned out to have a problem with the lights staying on, so we've sent them back..Both machines were the same and for £150 a lamp, i wouldnt recommend using them! Were back to our one handed lamp!It was to good to be true :)

UV lamp is an item way too important to be bought at ebay...
I think IBD has 2 handed lamp, but then again, that's for their line of products.
So I think you should go with lamp recommended for your system or at least ask your dist.'s oppinion.

And even though 2 handed lamp is nice to have, I don't think you will lose that much time or money working with single handed lamp :green:

Much better to have 2 single handed lamps; they go either side of your table so more comfortable for the client and you have a spare should one go wrong:green:

Thanks for replys peeps.
I have tried daylight and they were unsuccessful.
My previous boss had a 2 hand lamp before and lasted for ages! but cant get hold of her to find out.
The reason I want a 2 hand lamp is because it saves alot of time when using glaze and go and also the cnd uv top coat is so popular for my clients and it takes 8 mins to set!!! I think 16 mins is alot of time out of treatment and boring for client lol.
I think ill try ibd or just buy a 2nd lamp.

Thanks guys.x

Do you mean Creative Brisa TopGloss.....??

Unless people have very large hands why cant they just put one on top of the other in a single lamp, thats what i do with calgel.

I agree two single lamps is the way to go.

If you are are using CND top gloss you must use the Brisa lamp - it doesn't matter how long it takes to 'set' it may not be fully cured and this could lead to your client exposed to problems, have a read of this http://www.salongeek.com/general-articles/35947-choosing-uv-lamp-your-gel-system.html

I, personally use 2 Brisa lamps, whilst I am workig on one hand the other is in the lamp - HTH

I do not use gel as a system I use l+p and use nsi glaze and go which will cure under any uv nail lamp. And the creative uv gel top coat is a discontinued product that dries nail varnish giving it a great finish (god knows why they discontinued it! they seem to do that with their products!

I only useone lamp on myself and seems to be ok but some clients can be clumsy and not good after youve just finished a lovely polish for one to be dented!! lol:eek:

Im going to invest in another day light lamp me thinks!

:)

If you need a lamp for Glaze 'n Go, you could get two of the less expensive single bulb lamps, rather than two full hand lamps. A single bulb lamp will cure Glaze 'n Go just fine.

yeh i thought that jessie might aswell do that!

thanks:)
