hi all i am looking for some help on behalf of my friend who is a hairdresser she has chemically straightned her hair but now is struggeling to find a colour that her hair will accept on the parts that she used the straightner on, does anyone know of a colour she can try? she has tried 10, 20, 30 and 40 vol mixed with tint and tint mixed with non at all but the hair that has been straightened will not accept it!
sorry if any of that doesnt make sense im a therapist so not too clued up with hair!

sounds like her hair has no guts left in it! very over processed which has weakend all the bonds, she needs to give it a rest from chemicals and have some really good conditioning treatments!!!

Once the hair has totally degraded, colours will wash straight out. Any that we can get to stain the hair will generally be very flat (greeny ash) as the molecules that carry natural gold and warm tones depend on cuticle to remain in the hair.
