abc hot wax help

hi i had a little trouble with my hot wax abc, waxed a afro carribean girl top lip, but when i took wax off all her hair did not come out so i tried it again and stillm there were some left. What am i doing wrong, or is the abc wax not strong enought for afro caribean skin????

I have never waxed Afro-Caribbean hair so i'm not sure about that but i have certainly waxed very coarse, stubborn upper lip hair and found that pressing down very hard on the strip helps a lot. With the hot wax, obviously there is no strip to press.

I have not tried ABC hot wax, but i used to work in a salon that used the ABC warm wax and i hated it so maybe you need something better like a Perron Rigot one.

I'm sure some experienced hot waxers on here will be able to advise you.
