no mate, acetone to remove tips and acrylic, is normally pure acetone,
polish remover with acetone in it, normally has other ingredients aswell , like, ermmm, fragrance, oils, stuff like that,
actually can someone else answer please!!!!! lmao
No, acetone polish remover has other things in it to make it far more gentle to use, as a nail enamel.polish remover. Not a good choice for removing enhancements, assuming they need removing by being soaked off.
Acetone on it's own is a far more dehydrating, severe chemical and should be used with caution. Check your clients are not allergic to this kind of substance, apply solar oil around the skin around the nail to help with dehydration.
Check your COSHH sheets (Control of substances hazardous to health)
There is industrial Acetone and then there is acetone product remover which is chemically buffered to protect the skin from dehydration.
Many techs buy industrial acetone (to save a few measely pennies) to use in the salon .... they don't realise they could be taking big risks with clients' skin. Industrial acetone is not meant to be used on human beings. If you buy it from the hardware store, it is industrial grade acetone ....
