Acrylic beads & ombre

Help me please geeks
I'm coming to the end of my level 3 nvq in nail services and really struggling with acrylic. Can't get my head right, I'm working with it too dry and applying it far too thick. Any tips?
Have a photo shoot of Hollywood glam next week and dreading it. Wanted to do pink & white ombre but can't seem to do it. Thanks xx

It's just practice.
Are you immersing you entire brush flag into the liquid ?
When you wipe the flag how far up after you dip in the liquid do you wipe?
If you wipe all of it then your powder pick up ball will
Be smaller or dry.
If you stop halfway then your pick up ball is bigger.

Ombré uses 3 balls ideally.
Just get a piece paper and practice ball pick up and placement till you have the consistency.

Just just trained in acrylic and have been struggling too, I'm getting better and I've been practicing on Tammy Taylor practice sheet, it has helped me immensely as well as watching her tutorials
