Hi Guys,
My 1st Anniversary is coming up in july, I have organised a thank you evening at a local resturant/bar for all my exsisting clients.

I rent 1 room above a hairdressers, I am almost to the point where i cant take on anymore clients. So I didnt want to do a ladies night i.e. candles, tarot readings, jewellery, cards etc. As I havent got the man power to attract many more new clients (wish i won the lottery so i could get a salon)

So im doing two £2 vouchers which redeems a glass of wine/beer or both redeem a cocktail, finger buffet food, goody bags,a raffle, discount on bookings that night, and music.

What else could i do to make the evening go with a bang?

Also i have just employed a therapist to work on mondays and one saturday a month, im having trouble getting clients to have treatments with her. Any ideas of promotions or discounts to tempt my ladies.

thank you for all your expertise and advice

Well done on making it to your one year milestone :) Not easy in this day & age.

What you could try is running a competition whereby if your existing clients try a new treatment with your new therapist, they go into a draw to have that treatment the following month free.

The aim of this is 1. to get them to have something different which they may like & re-book; 2. get them to have something more expensive cos they could get it free the following month; 3. gets your newbie busier

What treatment is your therapist excellent at ?
do an offer on this treatment then the clients will experience how good she is and rebook with her, hth

she is really good at spray tan and manicures/pedicures. her nail painting is excellant x

Just want to say what a fabulous idea, and if I was a client of yours I'd be delighted with such an invitation x

thank you sun spray, like i said if i had the room to take on new clients i would do an open or promotion evening. so this is the next best thing i can think of. also alot of the marketing says to concentrate on your exsisting clientele, which is what ive done. most clients just had eyebrow waxs but now with my promotions etc they are having facials, massages etc x

kel's25, I hope you dont mind me asking, but how did you persuade your current clients to have other treatments? Im slowly building up my client base but am nervous to introduce new treatments to people incase they say no! :o

Thank you! xx
