hi everyone, im in need of some advice. i have a new nail lady, i have done her nails 4 times so far, the first time they were perfect, but since they have lifted so badly. i have never seen nails lift this bad before, and this has normall happened within 5 days of me applying them.
Im an experienced nail tech and have nerver had problems with liting at all. i suspect she may be picking and playing with them, but she assures me she isnt.
I use nsi acrylic, attract!!
She isnt pregnant, not on any medication so im baffled.
She has had here nails done for many years with another lady without any problems, so im feeling pretty crappy about this as she is on at me all the time about it.
Any ideas from you all would be great.
Thanks loads

If you give her nails a wipe over with scrub fresh or which ever nail plate cleanser you use you will be able to see any damage that is on her nails,
if their is damage there she has been picking etc and then you can point out that it is down to a lack of after care and abuse hth

I'm not being funny, but who says she never had any problems? The client? Sometimes they don't tell us the truth you know, so I would take this statement with a pinch of salt.

If you don't have any problems with your other clients it is more likely it is due to something the client is doing (even if she is not aware of it) or there is something about her particular nails. Did she wear gels before rather than l&p? I have heard that some people can wear one type but not the other so if you have gel then it may be worth trying that instead.

I know how frustrating it can be with a client like this - I had one who drove me mad thinking I was doing something wrong. It turned out she was seriously abusing her hands with cleaning products and constantly picking at the resultant mess. She wasn't willing to change her ways and in the end gave up wearing enhancements (much to my relief).

So keep your chin up and don't automatically assume it is your fault.

Cheers,
Hazel

If you dont get lifting with hardly anyone else, then its usually the client is telling porkies (one of my clients always lied!!)

If she never had any problems, then why did she look for another nail tech?;)
