Advice needed!!!

Hi I have been asked to do rockstar toes on a client in red and they also want matching glitter tips. Can anyone tell me the best way of just glittering the tips of their nails. I am new to gels and havr only ever done brush on White tips or all over colour with the edge gels or cuccio colour.
I am however saving up to switch to shellac as it sounds fab

Any help would be appreciated. X

are they natural nails or nail enhancements in gel or l/p acrylic ?

They want gel enhancements with the glitter on the tips. But Would it be different on natural nails then or would you follow the same steps?

easiest way ....
prep nails and fit and blend your tips.
apply some gel either coloured or clear to the tip area and sprinkle on some glitter, clean the smile lines for an accurate finish if neccessary.
cure.
brush off any loose bits of glitter with a manicure brush.
carry on applying the rest of the gel as normal.

if you are not extending the nail but just doing a gel overlay, the process is the same apart from using the tips.

what i meant was do you need to do it with nail varnish for natural nails?
you can use this process if you are but substitute polish for gel, however i would do one tip at a time so the polish doesnt dry before you get to the glitter.
