Hi Everyone, :)

I have a client at the moment who has roughly a 5 Base natural hair colour and wants to have white blonde (marylin monroe colour) hair, over the past 2 years we have been using capped higlights every 6 weeks with bleech and toner and we now have a light shade of blonde, however my clinet would like it more lighter and whiter (an icy shade of cool blonde) however I do not think my bleech is the best available. Please could someone recomened a high lift bleech which will lift a base colour 5 to a white blonde? Thanks alot!

Meg

Hi Meg , if you bleach hair up past that creamy stage and on up to white you risk damaging the hair ,

is your client is wanting to go an all over blonde
instead of a highlighted look ?

If so ....I wouldn't risk doing it as it will probably go brassy in between the highlights....
because if you try to lift the natural Level 5 hair up in between the old highlights

then the older bleached highlights are going to get over lapped and double dosed with bleach
and breakage will almost certainly occur , (hope that made sense )

the only way she will get away with this all over global bleaching
is if she has very short hair :) hth

here are some links that may help too :)

Thanks for the advice chick
My clients hair is all over light blonde which we achived by using capped highlights, we only use the cap for root retouch every 6weeks. So your saying to achive a more white look id have to use a toner? Please recommend a toner which would turn light blonde into a white blonde colour and please tell me how i would use it! Thanks
Meg xxx
