Hi,I need help please.
I have no proffessional knowledge of skin care, as I am a nail geek.:)

I have sensitive skin especially on my face.
I'm even allergic to olive oil (grape seed oil is fine), and johnson's baby oil is a big no.no!

One week ago, I was away from home and forgot to bring my face cream with me.
Only I could find was " Johnson's baby lotion with FRAGRANCE!!"
I know, I was stupid.
I used it.
Since then, I got a lot of small itchy rash on my cheeks.
My cheeks are really dry and flaky.
Rash itself is not really noticeable, my cheeks are more like rough and hard.

I don't have a time to go and see a doctor, so I'll go to chemist on Mon.

What I want to know is what should I apply on my face until I get some medication for it?
I've been using my usual skincare product, which is "Organic Rosewater Toner", "Jasmine, Mimosa and Rosehip Cream". And "Borage Oil Cream" for night.

Are they OK to use now?
Or should I stop using them?
Is there anything safe to use for me now?

Please give me some advise XX.

Hi.

My skin is highly sensitive too...its annoying isn't it!!

I personally would just carry on using your usual skin care products if they suit your skin and just let the reaction settle on its own. (if you start putting other products on to try and help with this reaction then your skin could worsen, sensitive skin doesn't usually tolerate too many different ingredients being applied)

Hope this helps.

I would say use natural products with NO alcohol as this will just agrivate it. Aloe vera is very good for calming the skin as is available in health shops. As your skin is even more sensitive at the moment you may find that even your usual products may agrivate it. So take a trip to your health shop and get some natural products to repair your skin. You shouldnt have a problem with them but just to be sure, test them behind your ear. Hope it clears up soon hun

Thanks a lot, Beautyfreak and Kylieb.

Yes, it's sooo annoying having a sensitive skin.

The skin of my face has been scaled, now I have my soft skin back!
(like snakes shed their skin....)
My cheeks are still itchy but I think I got over the worst point.

I will get Aloe vera and want to use it when I have an irritating skin.

Thanks again. XX
