Hi! Thankyou! Yeah I could do abit of mobile but I'm not sure I could do it all the time :/ I think it's everything to do with hair I'm allergic to. But that's a real good idea thankyou x

Hey mollie hope ur doing well and hope the appointment goes well tomorrow. I totally feel for you..... for the past 2 weeks ive had a viral infection in my eye tried all sorts of treatment drops etc. ..... doc said its airborne and something hasn't agreed with my eye. Thankfully all cleared up now. Keep us updated xx

Thankyou that's so nice of you! Oh gosh! It's horrible when it happens isn't it! Did you find out what airborne substance it was? My face is absolutely fine now but that's only because I haven't been in work for two weeks. So it's definatly the salon. I've had to go in for meetings the past week though and being in the salon made my skin itch and go all tight so it's obvious really. And I will do! Thankyou again xxx glad yours is okay now

Thankyou for all your advice and nice messages. Been to see the dermatologist and unfortunatly because of the severeness of my allergy there is nothing she can give me to prevent it it's only going to get worse. So I have no choice I'm going to have to leave because it's not just the colours it's the salon environment too. Xx
Sorry to read that. How awful for you. I know you said going mobile isn't an option as is everything in general (?) Surely what you're allergic to is the chemicals, so going mobile and just not offering a colouring service is doable?

The thing is because people colour their hair even though I won't be doing it it'll still be on their hair won't it so it still affects me. It's really **** xx

Thats a shame. Perhaps you could focus on making a niche out of doing bleach and crazy semi colours if you dont react to them? Like bleach london where they do mental dipdyes, tie dye hair etc. Could be a fun way of still being able to do colour.

i had a food reaction which was triggered of my contact dermatitis then to latex allergies. I had to preserve for at least 8 months before i could actually grasp what it was. I thought that after years of growing up in a salon environment had triggered it off but it was not the case. All i can suggest is keep a food diary and perserve! hths xoxo
