Hi,
Just found out that a "Russian" lady is developing an anaesthetic wax - told it is great for nostrils!!?? No watery eyes. Anyone know about this? I gather she is going to sell straight to the public. Also developing a product that will make eyelashes/eyebrows to grow. What do you reckon? Personally I think we have all been told this before and actually it is down to technique and the correct wax!

The eyelash/brow product that stimulates growth already exists. Its called revitalash and distributed by skinbrands.

Like everything though a thousand more similar products will hit the market.

As to an aneasthetic I apply that first anyway on over sensitive areas so probably wouldnt buy a wax with it it. Anesthetics come with high risks, any i use are purchased by the client and applied 30 mins before an appointment.

Very new to waxing & hvnt heard of the aneasthetic treatments only 'non scream cream' is this what you apply Kate?

If so, does it help?

Hi hun, not heard of this waxing company , but i am sure if they are good us waxing geeks will get to no. In regards to watery eyes from removing nasal hair i use both berins and perron rigot hard wax and they are both fantastic products that are great for nasal hair removal with out the tears:) But like any product technique helps lol hthxxxx:hug:

I use Emla cream and recommend this to clients. I would not use Aneasthetics on a client personally as they could have a reaction. I advise clients that if they want something else to help with the sensitivity of waxing to apply the cream an hour before the treatment.

Some clients though it dosnt work on!

Couldn't agree more there, Jenny! Speaking from my experience as one of Lori Nestore's waxing models earlier this month, I was very pleasantly surprised at how pain-free the nostril wax she did on me was - certainly no watery eyes - it was all over in a jiffy and I hardly felt a thing!!!

Your all wrong lol!!! How can you wax nose hair I'm crying at the thought!!!

I do the few just above my lip and I am writhing around in pain for a week and I have an extremely high pain threshold!

Ok I have berins blue here, I'm gonna give it a go tomorrow ( I usually just bleach it )!

If it hurts I will never forgive you haha!

I feel queasy lol! :irked:

lol:lol:, the nasal waxing is a painless technique, your top lip using the hot wax, i feel and from my clients responce is also a less painfull technique than with strip. I would recommend u get some one to do it for u as if u do it your self it does smart more, as u are more hesitant with removal. Rather than removin in 123 you remove your self in 1 2 3 lol good luck:lol:

I dont even like waxing my top lip! lol! Im a lazy therapist. I only just got around to waxing my legs last night after 4 months of looking like a man!

I did try one leg with warm wax and the other with berins blue and I must admit that leg hurt a damn site less!

Thanks for your advice. I will do it tonight when I get back from taking the kids to the dungeons.

Kate xx
