Annoyed and not the only one I'm sure. I thought I was safe.

Hi all. I basically need your input ..... I registered like many with safe salons earlier this year only to be told by a thread on here its now no longer available..... I paid for my contact details to be put on their website... I have the little window sticker, salon sticker and have it mentioned on my price list and business cards registered safe salon.......... Where do I go from here my clients think im a registered safe salon now. I feel like I'm lying but I've paid my subscription for a year like many others............ no one for safe salons even contacted me to say they had gone bust............. Where do I go from here ???? Any help or advice appriciated............xxxx Cheers in advance:cry:

You could contact your insurance provider to see if they have any words of wisdom for you, or alternatively the Guild or Habia, and after them Citizen's Advice.

My advice would be to remove the window and car stickers, but keep the details on your price menu and business cards until they run out. When you restock, leave the details out. It is not cost effective to get rid of your stationary for this small detail.

You are not really lying to your clients. You signed up with salon safe in good faith. They obviously inspected you to declare that you were 'salon safe'. It is not your fault they went into administration. So I wouldn't even worry about it.

Companies which go bust do not usually inform their customers. Most often you find out via the grapevine.

Thanks guys im just so annoyed i really used the im a registered safe salon info to make sure my clients were aware.....i will still carry out things the same anyway it was just nice to have that added to my salon qualities...... Im sure there is many in the same boat as me xxx
