Another Corset Competition!!

Hi Geeks....after all those fab entries and winners in the Dress a Nail Competition I thought I would put this in the Main Forum.
You all love your Art, and competing, so how would you like to enter our UK Corset Competition??

Some of you may remember that Viv Simmonds (Australia) held a Corset Competition last year but as the Nfu.Oh corset (can openers) were not available here the UK tech's felt a bit left out.
WELL as you know that has all changed

The details of the UK Corset competion are on our Facebook page, our Social Group on SG and here on our website Affiniti

It is a FUN competition and a great way for you to showcase your art skills as everyone needs a handy tool to open their drinks cans!!

We have made a change from Viv's comp as we felt a UK theme would be a good idea, rather than leave it totally open. But UK covers a multitude!!

One entry per person, and you only need to send in a pic of your entry to us!

So those of you still wishing they had entered Dress a nail this could be the one for you........I have attached the winning Corset from Viv's comp to let you see.

Is it not NAIL art that we are requried to do then?!

Sorry.....you take one of these handy little Corset Can openers from Nfu.Oh

and apply 3d L&P to it to make a Design. You can then sell them to your clients to show off your artwork and save their nails when they open a can of juice!! Therefore even the client with the natural looking nails you have created for her can still walk about and show off your arty side.
Don't forget to take a pic though and enter the competition!!!

I would love to enter, but dont think I have the 3d skills to compete, compared to some, mmm, but I want to play, must make a payment on my credit card, so I can use it to get some goodies :lol:

Can you use other materials within the design or just L&P ?
Oh another thing ? do we have to use nfu-oh products

You can use mixed media if you wish.....anything goes....same with the products.
What I would say though is......these corsets, generally, are for your clients to put on their key rings, and carry about with them to show off your art. Therefore it would be best to make them handbag proof lol!!

I'm going for it I've only played a little with 3d n all, but will give my best, I've done a karma sutra 3d nail lol, but I prob wouldn't be allowed to put it on this site ?? :lol: although I would love to :hug:

well although I am a novice at 3d nail art, I enjoyed dress the nail comp so much I'm giving it a go. I have my corsets on order, I bought 4 just in case of mistakes :lol: cept i didnt realise they had to be the nude and I bought 1 of each style and colour

:o: ...well having seen them now, I am glad that the Kama Sutra does not fit in wit a UK theme lol....pass me my smelling salts!!!

I am also going to close this thread now as all the information is in the Nfu.Oh Lovers social Group and I think it is a better place to carry on any discussions about the comp, in a more conversational way!!!

Which gives me another opportunity to nag you all to keep checking out the Social Groups and stop neglecting them :lol:

Obviously I will post a thread with the entries after the closing date 30th June.
