Ok, so I thought I had this sugaring lark sussed, sugared myself, bit tricky around the bikini area, gloves still tearing and sugar very sticky. I got there in the end though and was pleasantly surprised by the results. My question is that on the training the sugar was used cold straight from the container but looking at my NVQ 2 book it states that hand sugaring should be warm. I am so confused. I know not many of you rate sugaring but could someone who does use it advise me, please?

I have 3 full legs, thats 3 clients not just 3 legs :D, booked in for wednesday and 2 have never been waxed before and are interested in having the sugar so your expertise will be grately appreciated.

Straight from the tub usually huni although I have both soft and hard hand sugar paste and sometimes I do have to warm the hard sugar a little so I can get it out of the container. It will soon warm up in your hand.

Thank you, it broke the spatula that I was trying to get it out of the pot with. I would think that means its too hard but once its in my fingers it feels too sticky.

Hi there

I usualy warm my hand sugaring paste slightly. As without doing this, I cant really get it out of the pot! Doesn't need to be too warm, as the natura heat from your hands will soon warm it enough to work with.

Hope this helps?
