I think the title of this thread says it all!
I've been a beauty therapist for 10 years and I do specialise in skin care, particularly using electrotherapy equipment, and microdermabrasion....but I want to know if there's a course & exam I can take that will give me a different title!! Basically I'm fascinated by the skin and how it works and I want a course that will further my knowledge, and make clients take me more seriously as a skin care professional (A lot of them just see me as a spray tanner, or waxer, or manicurist, and much as I LOVE all aspects of beauty, I still feel there's a little stigma attached to it that we're all thick as a bog door!!! And we're not!!!) I could train to be a dermatologist, but to do that I have to train to be a doctor first, and I just don't want to!!
Any ideas geeks?
