Hi there,

Recently I read about applying tips with liquid and powder rather than adhesive.

Can anyone tell me the benefits of applying tips this way?

Many thanks,

Yes you can apply tips in this way, but it is not a way for every client.

For one, It takes much longer. You have to hold the tip absolutely still until the product polymerizes before you can let go, almost one minute per nail (10 extra minutes).

It can however be a method of providing the illusion of a longer nail plate to a bitten nail or short nail.

It also provides extra strength over the stress area of the nail if needed (but it really isn't necessary if you build your nails correctly in the first place).

Why would you be contemplating using this method? There is no real advantage.

Learning to sculpt is quicker and saves you the money on tips!.

Thank you for your reply, Geeg.

I had not heard of this method and wondered when you would use it.

You're right, I don't need to add another 10 mintues onto my time. I'll stick with tips or forms.

Many thanks, :D
