Has anyone any experience of this skincare product?

A friend of mine has just become a consultant and we are considering taking this range into the salon.

The products look fab and the business structure looks good.....would be nice to have some feedback from other users.

Cheers

Not for me! you may get some who like, they will tell you how good it is. Reminds me of Amway. upline sales and all that sort of thing. (they call themselves consultants now do they!

When there is products like Environ with a low startup, why would anyone look else where.

Have you actually tried the products?

I have used Arbonne, and got great results as a user. I have used Image, Glymed, Eminence skin care products. I received better results with Arbonne in a shorter amount of time. Than with the other three products. I Would highly recommend it. I don't know much about the structure of the company. But, I love their products. I think you will have awesome results.

Have a good day!

I personally wouldn't sell a product that my client can sell too.

There is a lot of info about this company on the internet.

One thing that I don't like is the fact that it's MLM (multi level marketing) so someone is ALWAYS making money from you and if you aren't at the bottom of the 'pyramid' and have people working beneath you then you make money from their sales too.

Yep, thats why I said Amway, its a pyramid. No doubt they have power meetings and stand on desks like kirby cleaner sales people used to. (update I have looked on the web and they do!) Products maybe ok, but think when a client gets home and google the name, (this is what every one does now) it does not look a good reflection, they to will see pyramid, I would not want that.

Look at the quality of the products and your mark up, that is the bottom line here. It doesn' matter what product you buy, someone is always making money from you unless you are at the top of the company. Direct selling and MLM have been labelled badly over the years and there is a difference between them and Pyramid selling. Pyramid selling is when your upline orders for you and then you buy from them, they order from their upline until it gets to the man at the top. MLM and direct sales, you order directly from the company and they sell directly to you. Your upline, person who introduced you to the company may receive a small commission from the company usually about 4% of your wholesale order amount and their upline will sometimes receive the same.

The old Pyramid companies are extinct now they may have even been outlawed in this country.

So we are back to the original question of the poroduct being good quality and the mark up being good enough to make a decent profit. :)

Thank you! I have already spoken to my friend and have expressed by desire NOT to be a consultant. A preferred client maybe, but... although I said the business structure looks good, it's not really that I am interested in. It's the quality of the products.

I have received samples to try and do like them, very much....but would like feedback from anyone who has USED the products for a period of time. I want to offer my clients a great product and one thats not going to end up on the shelves in Boots!

I have not used the products.

The reason I did not enquire further or use them is because it was one of my clients who specialises in childcare who tried to sign me up.

Exactly Martigirl, you are right, this is what I have tried to say, its like she is already decided on this and wants it said out loud! please understand what I said about clients using google like I said. please listen to Martigirl as well.

You need to look at client business sense, I did mention Environ, a product that works, and has a low start up. I would say why look else where again.

Oh dear.....I haven't 'made my mind up', but of course I want it 'said out loud'...its called RESEARCH, which is something I do with all of the products I bring into the salon. A salon, by the way, which I run very successfully!

The consultant (my friend), is a fully qualified beauty therapist and I trust her judgement, I wasn't asking your opinion on the business structure, I have enough business experience to make that decision for myself.

Please READ my post....I was asking for people opinions on the products, and results achieved over a period of time. Simple question really....

Yes and most people are against it for ethical reasons, can you see this?

No...I don't actually. Please explain......was is unethical??

My beauty therapist will be using it to perform beauty services and I can retail it for homecare exactly the same way I would with Environ. I woun't be 'signing anyone up'.....what is the problem??

and what has it got to do with the quality of the products???

Ok this is my last post on this, its know (look around the internet and ask) about the hard sell of this product, as others have said above as well. Your clients will know what is used and you said it retail. They then google there retail product, please don't think they do not. They look and find that you are part of a unplink down link system. (even if you are not) there are some bad things said about this, (look around) they may start to reflect back and think.

I have said an honest opinion that can be found anywhere on the web, you are not wanting the general findings.

This is my last post on this

I think this is a very valid point. Regardless of how 'great' (or not) the product may be. Simply does not make good business sense. Personally, have never heard of the product and therefore, on that basis alone, would be very cautious. It really is a no brainer.

Thank you DaisyL...

Clients come to a professional because of their experience, training, and advice. And of course, to get products they can't buy at the store or from their friends.

I have used Arbonne, and in my opinion, it's way overpriced for the quality of the product they put out. They spend alot of money to make their brochures look as inviting as they do..

In my opinion, it's a higher priced Mary Kay scheme. Mary Kay consultants have a chance to win a pink Cadillac, Arbonne consultants have a chance to drive a Mercedes....

Just to answer the question at hand... I have used Arbonne for almost two years and really like the product a lot! I mainly use the Nutrimin C RE line. I have used hundreds of other lines, and this is the one that I personally like and use.

Blimey, it sounds like it's on a par with Avon then . . . !

One more note....

We sell retail to give our client the best and of course....

to make money!!!!!

How can you mark up a product that the client can find out what the base price is?

Besides, there are wonderful products out there for reasonable prices.

All the best!
