Is ASET a recognised qualification and will i be able to get insurance with it?

I chose this course because it was recommended to me by Learn-Direct, I thought they would be a reputable company.

I've never heard of this qualification, but as you say it should be reputable being recommended by learn direct....??
sorry i couldn't be much help:confused:

I'm not 100% sure, but I think to gain insurance you have to go for practical sessions after the course.

I think I'm going to book on a learn direct course. What they do is actually put you in contact with their recommended trainers in your area, only came across it the other day by chance, its quite good - I know it sounds like a distance learning thing doesnt it. I'm going to ring my insurance company and find out. Would recommend you prob do the same to be sure, before you part with any dosh xxxxxx:hug:

I contacted my provider today and they told me that ASET is recognised worldwide and I should try the guild for my insurance.......Im hoping I havent shed out all this money for nothing.

Of course I am having practical training but not through a college just a nail technician and practice, is it true, will I not get insurance unless practical through a college?

I am also told its NVQ level2
