Australia Day Nail Art??

Hi All!
One of my regular nail art clients is booked in on Saturday for a full set of "Australia theme" nails....
Last fortnight we did lemon yellow glitter acrylic with a green glitter french polish....
This time she wants more detailed Australia art....i thought of doing a football, meatpie, kangaroo, holden car and australia flag (one on each nail)...but my meat pie looks like a blob so i gave up...
Does anyone have any ideas for me????? HELP!!!

What about the old slouch hat with corks hanging off it?
Perhaps a beach design, you could keep the lemon yellow glitter as the sand?

Or something quirky you could do flies, perhaps a bbq chop...or both together haha!


Edited to add, i just tried the slouch hat and it looked good. I first chose a brown polish and made an oval shape, once dried, i applied a square shape that sat half over the oval. I then used a white line to define the square from the oval shapes to make it look like a hat.

Then used white to make the straight lines hanging from the hat and made little squares at the end of the lines using a cream for the squares (corks)

You could also try airbrushing designs in you have an airbrush? You could airbrush Australia, kangaroos, the australian flag etc...

no i don't have an airbrush
but i just did a search for australia clip art.....i'm going to have a go at doing the opera house....the sydney harbour bridge....a koala....and a lamb chop lol

Someone posted a pic of nails they did for Australia Day.
And they were very good.


They had blue glitter on the free edge with the union jack on the ring finger.
Very very cool!

Hiya Hun
ive done a few desighns on ozzi themes wich look so nice i want to post them up here but as im still new in this sight trying to figure out how i do it cause im so hopeless on the computer i can tell u a few ive done i hand painted a roo with red boxing gloves looks awsome made the nail a nice dark green and yellow stars in the back round looks really really cool, ive also done a koala yellow back round him wearing an ozzi top that says g'day he looks cute ive done tazzi's face and nemo with his mates in the water i know that tazzi and nemo rnt what u r looking for but the roo and the koala look cute i should ask hubby 2 help me out so i can post a few of my nail art i hope i have helped u i know its hard not to be able to c and have a pic infront of u but i have no damm idea with the pc stuff im hopless at it
